Job Summary:
The Product Engineer’s job is to help translate the company’s vision for new products int manufacturable goods by taking these ideas through a rigorous research & development process until they’ve crossed the threshold from vision to reality; ready to be brought to market via our online retailing platform.
Key Functions:
● Assist in the development of new products from the ideation phase all the way to the
manufacturing stage
● Create functional CAD models & detailed CAD drawings (including all specifications of
products produced) to help maintain our growing product catalog
● Help in ensuring that proposed manufacturing processes are efficient, cost-effective, and
meet all quality standards, rules & regulations
Responsibilities:
● Work within a cross-functional team to develop new items and improve upon existing
products in our catalog
● Collaborate with production personnel to ensure that products are manufactured to meet
quality standards and production goals
● Troubleshoot and resolve any production issues that might occur in a timely & efficient
manner
● Stay up-to-date on industry trends & best practices to help continuously improve upon future

Qualifications:

Position Summary:
Vanspeed is seeking a team-oriented self-driven experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering or related field, and at least three years of experience in proficient mechanical design (Solidworks). The mechanical engineer will be responsible for creating initialrough sketches, transitioning those sketches into complex CAD models, and eventually producing mechanical drawings for fabrication. The Mechanical engineer will report to the lead vehicle engineer and work in a fast-paced and creative environment.
Responsibilities:
● Provide support to team members, customers, and others in the company as required
● Assure all regulations, policies, procedures, or processes are followed as required
● Show ownership of projects and tasks and be self-starting
● Collaborate with other engineers or team members on the project to ensure the
feasibility, functionality, and safety of the product
● Produce mechanical drawings for required processes needed
● Work through projects from initial sketch to completion of final product
● Utilize Solidworks for the design of products and organization of files
● Strategically and creatively think through designs and problems while keeping
manufacturing processes efficient when producing.
● Strong organizational and task management skills
Education:
● Minimum 3 years of mechanical design experience required
● Minimum 3 years of Solidworks experience required
● Strong understanding of Geometric dimensioning & tolerancing and how it relates to the

- Develop and maintain manufacturing processes by studying product
